Could There Be A Worse Time?

Perhaps. Perhaps not. Who am I to say?

HOLLY'S MACBOOK PRO JUST LOST ANOTHER HARD DRIVE AND WE'RE AWAITING A BOX FROM APPLE.

I am growing more and more convinced that we have no advocate in the Universe. Perhaps there is no Universe, but only our miserable existence.

PS - That is not Holly's computer in the photo. Her computer looks like a 4-month-old shiny MacBook Pro. It's the insides that are foul.

Oh, man. Sorry to hear that. I'm feeling a bit like you are today.
Maybe we should all buy PC's? Maybe not...

Man, sorry to hear about this. Perhaps you guys are serving to make all of us PC users feel a little better about being too cheap (or uncool) to buy Macs.

Hang in there, eh?

There's really only one plausible explanation - Holly must be emitting some kind of subspace, anti-magnetic, quantum-level gravitational force that is toxic to hard-drives. Mystery solved.

Them's hard drives for ya.

If still have the chance, go ahead and pay the $50 to have her data backed up and reloaded. It's not worth the hassle of putting it all back in, yourself.

It's so much nicer when the motherboard fails. Apple replaced mine after two worthless hard drive swaps. The new motherboard fixed the problem and they never even touched my hard drive.

PC users - Why feel bad about what you've got? I like OS X and Apple computers more, but I love using the XP machines, too. Be glad you don't have to use Windows 95.
