So Strange

I listen to Lake Wobegon unironically. I remember my parents having Garrison Keillor's tapes when I was a kid. Weird.

I grew up with those tapes, too (I loved listening to them). My parents also had a book or two. And, once for New Years, we went to a live show.

Kristen thinks I'm crazy for listening to A Prairie Home Companion, but I love it.

Ryan, I also listened to A Prairie Home Companion for a long time. Imagine my shock when I actually moved to Minneapolis-St. Paul!?

I actually have those tapes. I started recording the show on and off from 1985. Now there's no need to. It's on the Web.

It's a one-of-a-kind American musical museum. You just can't hear those traditional musical forms very many places - especially on the radio.
