Paxton Sharp, 8 lbs., 54 cm

We're enthralled and tired. A quick rundown in words and photos.

10pm - Go to sleep
12am - Wake up because Holly's cramping contractions aren't sleep-through-able
3am - Call Lis, our midwife
3.30am - Clear out living room, blow up and fill up birth pool
4am - Lis arrives
5am - Other midwives arrive for support, I keep warming up the birth pool with boiling water
6.30am - Holly guides Paxton to safe arrival in the birth tub
7.30am - Paxton is asleep on my chest

So there are the words...now, some photos...

awesome! fantastic! "Changgih!" (which is a mixture of awesome and fantastic in Malay)

Well wishes all the way from Malaysia ... from 1 year old plus Elysia my daughter, Gareth (oour little boy who just turned 4 on October the 8th) - which means Paxton and him have the same birthday? and "Uncle and Aunty" Sivin & May Chin.

We are sooo thrilled for you guys! He is amazing! The first 6 weeks was the hardest for us. I remember so clearly the many 1 or 2 am's crying, longing for sleep while feeding, rocking, and convincing my babies that they were fully fed, changed, and need to be sleepy! :) What a ride this will be...it's awesome and you both will be incredible parents! Maybe we can get up there one of these days to visit you and meet the little guy! We love you! Love, Richelle...and family
