Troy Helped Me Articulate It

Thanks man.

He said that the path can take switchbacks and/or direct routes. Have you ever climbed a mountain straight up? Taking it on, as it were?

I have. And it's tiring. But it should be tried all the same. Because why not? It's a tad dangerous and you might not do it again, but why should that keep you from trying?

Still, switchbacks make the same route livable...perhaps more enjoyable. True, you won't be described as "hard core" and you won't be able to blog about your time, but in the end, it's all good. That you tried the path at all, that you tried to climb the mountain of goodness and health and virtue is a beautiful thing in and of itself.
