What if We Stopped Waiting?

I saw this on a trash can this morning. I have been asking myself and others this question for some time. I don't know that that provokes me to stop, but it makes me think.

"What if we stopped waiting?" Well, I suppose it could mean just about anything.

But I think the first thing that comes to my mind is "What if we stopped waiting for others to starting helping the needy?" What if we were the first?
