sad day...

[pardon the rant...]

today has honestly been a bummer day for us here at 814 n. the strand in o-side...

i have listened to kerry's concession speech and got teary-eyed... i just cannot believe this is happening... and then to realize that it is now a republican-led senate... and to hear bush ask for us to 'come together'... what?...

to me, this is a sad state of affairs... and i am not represented in this country... obviously...

bush is not my president... and canada is looking like a better option every day...

my sister has some brilliant thoughts on this as well... and dave lemen's thoughts as well as jen lemen's friend joi's thoughts... and will's sentiments...

'why so downcast oh my soul?'

...because great crusades are being done again in the name of christ and people are being oppressed by religion again... and again and again...

[or am i being over-dramatic?... yah probably a bit... just a little bit...]

Sorry it's been such a down day. Seriously though.. Bush IS your president. ;) If you DO go to canada, wait til I'm done recording. Have a better one man. PEACE

On a serious note, I feel ya, in a way. So, I make fun but also mean well.

Ryan, whoa, dude...If I was to write negative stuff about Kerry--wait, in fact i did awhile ago-- and I got nothing but negative feedback. Just a suggestion from ones who's learned his lesson about calling names and not supporting a potential president (or the actual President for that matter)...be careful what you say.
Peace, bro

i mean, resorting to name-calling and slamming is pretty low...

i retract my statement that george is a dumb-ass... but he is still not my president...

come to Canada! You'll love it here! And I do think George is a dumb ass. Thankfully he is not MY country's leader. I think many Americans will come to regret voting for him in the coming days.

anyhow, come to Canada!

Ryan,
Hey, do me a favor, try doing a google search for:
"270 mass graves in Iraq"
or
"over 100 punitive amputations a week in Iraq"
or
"Ambassador Prosper."

Is it because the Iraqi people are mid-eastern that you don't care if they are killed by Saddam? Do you think we should have gone to war with Hitler?

Is it because the mid-easterners aren't white? If they were white, like say maybe the jews/French being killed by the Nazies, would you be against that?

I think you are a racist! Just because these people aren't white doesn't mean they don't diserve to be free. Thank God we have a moral man as the president and not a racist like you.

Serving my God and country for over 12 years.

D.Y.

Oh ya, Ryan,
Please go to Canada.

Find out for your self how sh!tty a government run healthcare system is. You'll be running back to the good ol' US of A. Or go find out about Canadian pensions (what we call social security) you ignorant, weak-minded boy.

Please go! That way when you return you'll be thankful and maybe join the military and serve your country instead of being holyer than thou.

I dare you to move to Canada. You don't have the guts to make a move like that! Ask your mom, see if she says it's okay. Maybe she'll bankroll the move.

You are just a blathering child completely divoid of courage and rational thought.

Regards,
D.Y.
